Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 24, 2026

These terms apply when you buy plugins, licences and subscriptions on arosoft.se. Please read them before you place an order. By completing a purchase you accept these terms.

1. Who we are

arosoft.se is run by Arosoft Software Development (Swedish company registration number 556883-4583, VAT number SE556883458301), Vaksala Eke 79, 754 73 Uppsala, Sweden. You can reach us at support@arosoft.se or through the contact page.

2. What you buy

We sell premium plugins for WordPress and WooCommerce. A purchase gives you:

  • the plugin files, downloadable from My account → Downloads,
  • updates for the plugin during your subscription period,
  • support by email during your subscription period (see section 5).

The plugin code is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL), like WordPress itself. These terms cover what you buy from us on top of that: access to downloads, updates and support.

3. Licences and number of sites

Each licence covers the number of live websites stated on the product page when you buy it (for example 1, 5 or 20 sites). You may use a licence on your own sites or on a site you build for a client. Local development and staging copies of a licensed site do not count towards the number of sites.

If you need more sites, you can buy a larger licence or contact us.

4. Prices, payment and renewal

  • Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Value added tax (VAT) is added according to EU rules, based on your country and, for businesses in the EU, your VAT number.
  • We accept card payments (via Stripe) and PayPal. We never see or store your card details.
  • Plugins are sold as yearly subscriptions. Your subscription renews automatically every year and the renewal is charged to the payment method you chose, until you cancel it.
  • A renewal is charged at the price you paid, unless we have told you about a new price at least 30 days before the renewal date.
  • You can see your renewal date and cancel at any time in My account. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund a period you have already paid for (see section 6).
  • An invoice (receipt) is available for every order in My account → Orders.

5. Support and updates

During an active subscription you get:

  • updates when we release new versions of the plugin,
  • support by email for questions about the plugin’s features and for bugs you report to us.

Support does not include installation services, customisation, development or help with other plugins or themes, but you are welcome to ask us for a quote.

If your subscription ends, the plugin keeps working. You just stop receiving updates and support. You can renew whenever you like.

6. Refunds

  • We do not offer a money-back guarantee, neither for the first purchase nor for renewals.
  • If a plugin does not work and we cannot solve the problem, we refund the payment for that period. Contact us with your order number and a description of the problem, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it first.
  • Consumers in the EU have a statutory right of withdrawal under consumer law, which applies as the law provides. Business customers are not covered by it.
  • Refunds are paid back to the payment method you used. After a refund, the licence and access to downloads, updates and support for that order end.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Keep a backup of your website before installing or updating a plugin.
  • Check that the plugin fits your setup. Our product pages and documentation at docs.arosoft.se describe requirements and features.
  • Keep your account details correct and your login private.

8. Liability

We build and test our plugins carefully, but we cannot guarantee that they work with every combination of WordPress, WooCommerce, themes, plugins and hosting. The plugins are provided as they are.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost data or lost orders. Our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

9. Personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

10. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order; a new version applies to renewals after we have told you about it.

Swedish law applies. If we disagree, we will first try to solve it together; write to support@arosoft.se. Disputes are settled by a Swedish court.
